We finished the Obstacle Course animation and handed it in. ![]()
We finished the flour sack animation and began to work on an obstacle course animation. ![]()
We began working on a Flour sack animation which would help us understand how to control a normal character's rig. The flour sack acts as a torso with each of the corners acting like a limb. We also created practice and planning sketches for the animation.
I sorta forgot to update the site for, give or take a month. Well either way, in week 6 we learned more about 2D and 3D animation and made a 3D ball bounce. I left some of the videos of the full rendered version below this. Also we had a 2D ball bounce that we completed. ![]()

We started 2D and 3D animation this week. Its a really fun component of the course. In my spare time though, i've been trying to structure a hand with a little bit of shading.
We started flipbook animations this week. Just playing around with it and making small animations is a lot of fun. We also worked on body sketches for when making a new character. I made one on the page using the method and it wasn't even that difficulty.
We started making female characters in class this week. For some reason it seems I do a better job at making them than I do with male characters. I guess thats not a bad thing, but I'm still going to try harder at making a decent looking male character.
Forgot to post for a week, so I'm doing it today. We drew our firsts character in class this week. Although my attempt at making the character didn't go too well, I'm slowly improving at quickly drawing.
The first week was interesting. Drawing with the new technique of keeping my arm raised and continuously drawing is something I need to get used to, but I'm sure that I will adjust eventually.
