Decided to start to create some weapon designs as game assets or something. Here is the first result. I also wanted to experiment with some more realistic shading over the more cartoonish shading I usually do. (Also happy new year!)
Decided to create a quick 1 point perspective sketch (Total time: 1 Hour and 28 Minutes) and a quick character body sketch with a cyborg augment arm (Total time: 38 Minutes).
Decided to attempt to make more animal character and try to fit them into a background. The colour scheme may not really match but I decided that since Halloween had just passed, a spooky background would be more appropriate. The one thing I could improve is the resolution of the character vs the background.
I couldn't get the hang of the raptor/snake body for the original character I had in mind so I moved back to a character I had planned a long time ago but never finished. I created a very rough action pose and am going to add metallic parts for the body following the body lines. I also began some character poses in a line sketch.
I was practicing some lighting effects on shinier materials so I decided to make a styled knight design.
The following is a simple looking wood texture that I made while I was practice creating some UV layouts.
Was sketching a character off of something I'd seen in some video games I was playing. The first sketch is just the plain sketch with colour that I made while the second is with some effects put into the background.
